Credentials

Teri Schmidt is a skilled executive leadership coach and facilitator, partnering with compassionate, driven leaders to elevate their performance without sacrificing well-being, clarity, or connection.

With 20+ years of leadership experience in corporate, nonprofit, and educational settings, Teri brings both strategic insight and a deep understanding of people to her work. She partners with leaders who are navigating leadership stretch moments, those high-stakes, identity-shifting times of change when existing habits and practices are no longer working. She helps leaders understand what drives their reactions, strengthen trust on their teams, and stay steady during periods of change.

Teri’s coaching style is calm, direct, and highly practical. She listens closely, asks questions that slow down rushed thinking, and helps leaders untangle complex situations into workable steps. Many clients value her as a confidential sounding board who helps them reframe challenges, identify strengths they may be overlooking, and approach conversations with more clarity and intention.

Teri also hosts the Strong Leaders Serve podcast, where she shares research and stories about effective and human-centered leadership. As an Ironman triathlete, Teri knows the value of endurance and adaptability, qualities she brings to every engagement. She lives in the Dallas area with her family and enjoys backpacking and occasional rock climbing in her free time, activities that mirror her belief that growth happens when you’re willing to step into challenge.
